Accredited teacher certification programs are now available online! In 2006, Western Governors University Teachers College (WGU) became the only online teacher education provider to receive accreditation from the National Council for Teacher Accreditation of Teacher Education. Certification programs are available at the undergraduate and graduate levels and include Master’s programs for math and science teachers and Master of Education in English Language Learning.

Students are eligible to receive Education Service Partner Agency benefits through the WGU-ESA Partnership program. These benefits include a $65 application fee waiver and a 5% tuition discount.

Constituents who want to enroll at WGU under the partnership need to have the application form signed by a West 40 staff member. The form must then be faxed to WGU. http://www.wgu.edu/wgu/esa_students.asp
