This Institute consists of 2 half-day sessions during the school year designed to provide administrators with the opportunity to focus on areas of need and collaborate with colleagues. It will focus on support for administrators as districts begin the full implementation of the MARS tasks in grades six through nine and move forward with the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. Sessions will address topics such as high-quality instruction, supervision to promote student engagement and learning, equity and opportunities to learn, and formative assessment.

Audience: All principals and district curriculum administrators in participating districts; high school mathematics department chairs
