West 40 Intermediate Service Center #2 is part of Illinois' network of regional education agencies providing support to public schools and districts in the western Cook County suburbs. Services include teacher and administrator professional development, alternative learning centers, school improvement planning support, and assistance with implementing governmental policies and initiatives.

Please review what aspects of your certification can be completed on line at www.isbe.net/ecs. It is also possible to make registration and certification payments on line. You can also mail certification materials such as application and registration forms with required fees, transcripts, etc.

The Intermediate Service Centers are providing Comprehensive Educational Services including Certification for educators in Suburban Cook County beginning July 2010.
Please be aware that each Intermediate Service Center (ISC) only serves educators that work or, if not actively working on a certificate, live in their service region. Please see your region’s website for more information.
Certification hours:
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and by appointment
