  • Mike C

    Meet Mike Czerniawski:

All students deserve a great education. To make that happen, I center my work on coaching educational leaders in enhancing district and school improvement efforts. I specialize in helping educators focus on the changes to leadership, instruction, professional learning communities, and climate and culture that propel student achievement. I guide leaders in using systems and practices that make implementation come alive and truly advance the work of the schools.

Since 2000, I have had the opportunity to successfully support school improvement efforts in districts across the country. In that time, almost every single school and district I've worked with has made gains in student achievement and educator effectiveness. I help foster that growth through coaching and professional development for administrators, teachers, and parents and community members. In addition, I am a reading specialist who started coaching when I worked for Dr. Timothy Shanahan at the UIC Center for Literacy.
