By reflecting on personal ways of being and its effects on how one shows up in the workplace, along with understanding the richness and importance of diverse perspectives, administrators place themselves on a trajectory that can positively affect the wellbeing and academic success of the students being served. Administrators will learn strategies to understand the importance of intersecting identity markers and how to respond to staff and students with care and dignity. State and local data will be reviewed as a way to connect the issues that impact student learning at all levels and how locally, we can make an impact in our culture, climate and academic programming.
