Attendance Network
Attendance Network
The West 40 Attendance Network exists to promote and brainstorm solutions to address student attendance. We offer idea-sharing and problem solving with a focus on both preventive and responsive strategies. All members who wish to participate will help to disseminate and evaluate intervention strategies in order to facilitate increased student attendance. This network will meet from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month. Curriculum Cafe is a forum where curriculum leaders share best practices, problem-solve, and network about federal and state initiatives, research, and classroom practices. Curriculum Cafe is committed to excellence in education for all children in our schools by bringing curriculum leaders together.

The goal of the EL Directors Network at West40 is to brainstorm solutions to challenges and articulate best practices that are implemented throughout West40 districts. During our meetings, we will also include the perspective and guidance of the Illinois State Board of Education's DELL administrator. The purpose of the Family Engagement Network is: to connect, to share resources, to learn from one another, to bring families to our schools to engage them in their children's education, to connect them with tangible resources, and to assist the families to have better outcomes. The Family engagement network is for School- based Parent or Family Liaisons or those who serve their schools and Communities in a similar capacity. It is also for community partners serving the West Cook County Region.

Ministerial Alliance Network
West40 is co-hosting with Proviso Township Ministerial Alliance Network to develop another West40 Network, The Ministerial Alliance. Churches and other community partners within the West40 region are welcome to join this Network. This is where churches can retrieve resource help which will hopefully enable them to carry out their outreach projects in their community. In essence, this is an empowering network! There’s nowhere in the West40 region where churches attain assistance and support for their outreach projects within their communities. We meet monthly and are finding ways to support our underserved students in the West40 region. We believe that burdens are lighter when everyone works together. All are welcome!
