  • ACTUALIZACIÓN DE WEST40 EN ST. ESCUELA SECUNDARIA JOSÉ

    West40 presentó los planos para nuestra propiedad en St. Joseph y respondió preguntas en la reunión de la junta directiva del Village of Westchester el 9 de abril como parte del proceso de aprobación del pueblo. El siguiente paso en el proceso sería una audiencia de zonificación, que aún no se ha programado. Se espera que la audiencia de zonificación incluya una presentación más amplia de West40 y comentarios públicos. Mientras tanto, West40 está trabajando en un cronograma para la instalación de equipos HVAC en el edificio frontal. La reducción de asbesto está en curso en las estructuras del lado norte de la propiedad. Ya se ha iniciado la planificación de la demolición de las estructuras del norte y se ha adjudicado el trabajo. Aún así, la reducción del asbesto debe completarse antes de que se pueda fijar un cronograma de demolición. West40 sigue comprometido a crear una escuela que atienda a aproximadamente 40 jóvenes necesitados, incluidos estudiantes de crianza y aquellos con preocupaciones socioemocionales.
