West40 Area Students Honored for Leadership, Kindness, and Service

West40 was honored to present SCOTY Awards to 132 students from our partner school districts on March 20. SCOTY stands for School Citizen of the Year and students were chosen by their schools as having demonstrated outstanding qualities of leadership, kindness, and service. Students received a certificate, a medal, and a SCOTY water bottle. Thanks to West Leyden High School for hosting the event and a special shout out to Leyden Band Director Brian Miller, who is retiring after 30 years of service and leadership.
