This professional learning experience equips school and district leaders with the reflective skills and structured processes needed to navigate artificial intelligence (AI) policy readiness in an evolving educational landscape. As AI technologies continue to shift rapidly, districts are often uncertain how to interpret emerging guidance, examine existing policies, and engage stakeholders in productive, informed conversations. This course supports leaders in developing the capacity to ponder policy considerations without prescribing policy language or outcomes.
Using the reproducible discussion protocols from Experimenting with AI, participants engage in structured dialogue and guided inquiry through the Pondering Policy Framework, a leadership model organized around five guiding questions-who, what, where, when, and why.
