West40 Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2027-2031

West40 sees what is possible, understands what is needed, and does what it takes to move students, schools, and communities forward. Our new five-year strategic plan builds on that commitment and gives us a clear direction for West40’s future, growth, and impact. It aligns our work around three important areas of focus: Serving Students, Serving Staff, and Serving the Region.

West40 developed the plan throughout the 2025-26 school year in collaboration with team members, area educators, and our community. This roadmap will provide a clear picture of where we are going, what we hope to accomplish, and how we will make an impact across West Cook County and beyond.

By focusing on student achievement, team member engagement, and strong educator partnerships, we will strengthen opportunities, deepen connections, and create better outcomes for the people and communities we serve.

As the Strategic Plan guides West40’s work over the next five years, we will share our progress along the way. The West40 website will be the primary channel for sharing these updates with students, families, and stakeholders.
