Mental Health Support

Reducing barriers so students can receive timely and direct mental health services while providing guidance for those who serve them.

HOW WE HELP

West40 provides support for students experiencing symptoms of anxiety, symptoms of depression, difficult life changes, family challenges, and other concerns affecting their daily lives. Additionally, we offer substance use prevention and early intervention services for students and educational sessions for parents, guardians, and educators. For educators, mental health professionals, social workers, and staff members, reflective consultation is available to promote learning, professional growth, and self awareness. Individual and peer clinical supervision is also available for those completing internship hours.

WHO WE SERVE

Direct Services:

 

  • Referred students from West40 programs, including ALOP, Safe School, Remote School, or Truancy and Teen Parent

  • Parents and family members

 

Reflective Consultation:

 

  • Social workers, educators, mental health professionals, other care providers within West40 districts, and West40 staff.

 

Clinical Supervision:

 

  • West40 staff completing clinical supervision requirements for professional counseling licensure
