This two-day professional learning experience is designed to support teachers in understanding and implementing Building Thinking Classrooms (BTC) practices. Day 1 will focus on developing foundational knowledge of BTC instructional strategies, including the research base, classroom structures, and approaches that promote student thinking, discourse, and engagement. Day 2 will emphasize application and implementation, providing participants with opportunities to analyze classroom scenarios, plan for integration into their own instructional settings, and reflect on next steps for practice. Throughout the session, participants will engage in interactive activities, observe modeled BTC strategies, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in structured reflection and planning.
