Governing Board Re-Elects Dr. Jennifer Kelsall as President

The West40 Governing Board re-elected its three board officers and welcomed its newest member during its August meeting.

Dr. Jennifer Kelsall (Ridgewood High School District 234) will continue serving as Board president. Meanwhile, Dr. Ed Condon (River Forest School District 90) will serve as Board vice president and Dr. Kristin Kopta (Pennoyer School District 79) will serve as Board secretary.

Additionally, Dr. Paula Di Domenico (Leyden School District 212) was approved to fill an open spot on the Board.

The Governing Board embraces the mission of West40 and guides the intermediate service center’s work and services provided to area school communities, while advising the executive director.

“As the Governing Board president, it is exciting to see first-hand the impact West40 has not only on our region, but on the state, national and now, global level,” Kelsall said. “Our students are at the center of the work being done at West40, and we are fortunate to have such a committed and caring staff who truly live the mission and vision of the organization.”
