Strategic Plan Update - April 2026

Members of the West40 Cabinet met this week to continue work on our next five-year Strategic Plan, which will include three core priorities for the organization:

• Serving Our Students

• Serving Our Staff

• Serving Our Region

  
  

Cabinet members are making considerable progress on the proposed roadmap for our future. On Tuesday, they worked in groups to formulate actions that will support the goals behind each Core Area in the next Strategic Plan.

Each group’s conclusions will now be reviewed by other Cabinet members before the proposed actions are ultimately approved. A communications plan outlining how the Strategic Plan will be shared with West40 stakeholders is also being developed.

The Cabinet used feedback from internal and external stakeholders as the foundation for the next Strategic Plan. It will also reflect the importance of responsible and sustainable growth, strong financial stability, and strategic alignment of programs, partnerships, and resources.

West40 is on track to share its Strategic Plan with the Governing Board in August, ensuring it is in place for the start of the 2026–27 school year.
