The West40 Communications Team takes pride in creating impactful storytelling and branding work and this year the team is thrilled to receive four awards in the 2025 National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) Publication and Digital Media Awards contest.
NSPRA recognized the West40 Communications Team with an AWARD of EXCELLENCE for its Circle Puzzle Brand Kit, which was designed to be an engaging way to communicate who we are and what we do.

The circle puzzle pieces are stored in small tins that are often distributed to guests who visit West40. The kits are indicative of the way West40 strives to be "different" while providing the best possible support to students, educators and community members.
Each card in the kit features a QR code linking to a specific West40 department's webpage, allowing for real-time updates without the need to reprint materials.
The communications team received AWARDS of MERIT for Walk In Their Shoes, a behind the scenes video series that focuses on West40 team members who spend their days outside of an office environment, and for an infographic showing the impact of West40's ALOP program.
Additionally, the communications team received an HONORABLE MENTION for its video on exploring the former St. Joseph High School before its demolition. The video currently has more than 3,000 views on Youtube.

According to NSPRA, its Publication and Digital Media Awards recognizes outstanding tactical materials such as publications, newsletters, videos, and more. Entries are judged within an entry category for organizations of similar type and size and each entry is judged on the overall excellence of the entry as well as its quality compared to other entries in the category.
"Congratulations to our comms team!" said West40 executive director Dr. Mark Klaisner. "It is terrific for them to be recognized at the NATIONAL level!"
